There are various choices on how WH&S Consultation can occur to enable the employer and the workers to adopt the consultative arrangement which they believe will best ensure effective and meaningful consultation.
A Safety Committee, Safety Representative or other agreed arrangements may be established.
In providing a safe and healthy work environment reasonable effort to prevent accidents, protect employees from injury and to promote the health, safety and welfare of all employees, work place inspections should be carried out on a regular basis.
Planned Site Safety Inspections are essential part of a Work Health and Safety program as they can, if used effectively, detect potential risks prior to an incident occurring, allowing for any problems to be fixed or controls to be put in place.
