These Type A, B & C checklists are a guide to assist with monitoring the content of the first aid kits, providing a description of the content required for each type of first aid kit in the workplace:-
Type A First Aid Kit Checklist: for construction sites at which 25 or more persons work
Type B First Aid Kit Checklist: for construction sites at which less than 25 persons work
Type C First Aid Kit Checklist: for office or vehicle
You should review and restock first aid kits after each use. If they are not used, you should review them every 12 months to ensure they contain a complete set of required items.
A nominated person at your workplace, usually a first aider, should perform this function. This person will also be required to sign and date an inventory list after each check is performed.
